Theropods

Definition: A populous group of bipedal, carnivorous dinosaurs that included raptors, tyrannosaurs, and various other groups that are constantly under revision (including carnosaurs, megalosaurs, etc.). Some paleontologists think theropods (Greek for "beast-footed") are represented today in the form of birds.
