Jurassic Park IV: The Neverending Story
According to the entertainment blog iFMagazine, the latest installment of Jurassic Park may yet see theaters--albeit without the previously rumored plot, which involved dinosaurs being hatched and cultivated by the U.S. military, outfitted with guns and armor, and used as soldiers. (Apparently, when word got out about this proposed screenplay, the backlash on the internet was so intense that Steven Spielberg & Co. were forced to reconsider).
All we know for sure--and by "for sure," I mean "with a high degree of probability"--is that Laura Dern will be returning, since she's the one who's been spreading the prehistoric gospel. After all, if Steven Spielberg can churn out yet another Indiana Jones sequel, can a new Jurassic Park be far behind?

Ugh! I hope they don’t bother with a fourth installment! I really loved the first movie. However, I thought the second was rather pointless — and the impromptu gymnastic scene was perhaps Mr. Speilberg’s worst moment as a director. And the third… I saw the third, but I don’t even remember it.
If they want to adapt another dinosaur book into a movie I nominate Danny and the Dinosaur by Syd Hoff!
I remember Danny and the Dinosaur! Wow! …But I rather hope they don’t do it as a movie — can you imagine what travesty they could come out with? *shudder*
