For such an enormous dinosaur, Brachiosaurus has been reconstructed from surprisingly scanty fossil evidence. Here's a look at the discovery and naming of Brachiosaurus.

Is there any explanation for why the heads of Brachiosaurus are mostly missing, when the rest of the skeleton is found? I know bones get scattered by scavengers and floods,etc. But heads are routinely found with other types of dinosaurs, why not Brachiosaurus?
