For years, geologists have speculated that volcanic activity may have contributed to the demise of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago--but that the effect of these eruptions was secondary to the meteor impact that was primarily responsible. Now, researchers have found evidence of a huge amount of volcanic activity in India's Deccan plateau around the time of the K/T Extinction--eruptions that would have spewed dinosaur-choking amounts of sulphur and chlorine into the Cretaceous atmosphere.
On the face of it, this theory makes sense: about 75 million years ago, the Indian subcontinent plowed into the bottom of Asia, a slow-motion collision (still going on today) that released tremendous amounts of energy. Still, it seems unlikely that sulphur alone could have killed the dinosaurs; perhaps a one-two volcano-meteor punch did the trick.

Didn’t I read something about insects wiping out the dinosaurs? I’m pretty sure I did…let me think…oh, right! It was on that excellent insects site:

Maybe this is that three strikes: volcanoes-meteor-bugs of doom!
I have been researching this subject for 2.5 years now and it is still a area of scientific uncertainly.
studies have shown that this climate change has nothing to do with the volcanic activity. little volcanos under sea have unsettled the one that may have led to dinosaur extinction.
Is there any evidence that proves this method a false fact?
couldnt an asteroid have triggered the volcano to go? and then maybe the separtation of Pangaea?
i think this is all crap thay all died because thay are ugly (truth hurts)
this is a lie
ACTUALLY SOME SUDDENLY CHANGES IN GLOBAL WARMING SO THAT MANY NATURAL CREATURE CAN LIVE ACCORDING TO THE CLIMATE BUT DINOSAUR CAN,T ADJUST WITH THIS CLIMATE IN SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. SO THAT SOME HUGE DINOSAUR CAN DIE BUT SOME ARE LIVE……………………….
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE dinosaurs
